Well time to add some fuel to the Christmas madness by listing my top business books for 2007. I recommend all of these for that last minute shopping spree or that hard to shop for person on your list – please be sure use the links below as this is part of my social media-affiliate marketing experiment.
- Options by Fake Steve Jobs
– totally side split-tingly hilarious!
- Wikinomics
– a paradigm shift for business and collaboration on-line.
- The Search
– John Battelle’s instant business classic.
- The Long Tail
– This one by Chris Anderson should be on your book shelf right next The Search
- 4 Hour Work Week
– I haven’t read it yet, but I like the sound of it and will be buying this week.
- Quirkology by Richard Wiseman
– this one really makes you think about things from a different angle.
- P.J. O’Rourke’s meditation on The Wealth of Nations
– its good, I am still digesting this one.
- Getting Things Done
– we can all benefit from being more efficient. I like this simple approach from management guru David Allen – GTD, baby.
- 300 Beers To Try Before You Die
– enough business, time to relax. The title says it all – trust me buy it.
- Buying Property in Portugal
– its winter up here in Northern Europe and I always start thinking about warmer places. This is on my shopping list!
I hope you have found this list helpful or a least not annoying. The normal tone of this blog will resume shortly.

Hi, Chrissy – thanks for that tip. Sounds potentially interesting, but perhaps a bit out of the mainstream. Hey at least you’re getting some viral marketing via my blog. Happy Holidays!
